Whether you were elbow-to-elbow with the health IT industry at the Sands Expo Convention Center, engaged in the educational offerings of Virtual HIMSS12, or were glued to the #HIMSS12 Twitter stream from home, the sheer volume of thought leadership, learning, and sharing was something to be noted and celebrated.

In the spirit of celebration, we now bring you HIMSS’ very first and inaugural infographic! Thank you all for your support and continued participation with us.

  1. Very nice! Online Tech will be attending HIMSS and hopefully joining in the conversation – read more about it here:

  2. Angela Harar says:

Cool. What tool/company did you use to collect some of the social media data (i.e. number tweets per hour, location)?

  3. Michael A. Gaspar says:

Angela, thanks for the question. We collect the majority of the data internally. However, we were able to take some of the data shared by our friends at Symplur. Great social media in healthcare resource. You can see some of their analytics and subsequent analysis here: Some of the demographic breakdowns we were able to gather from Hootsuite Analytics. Hopefully that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions! Cheers.
