Following a very successful National Health IT Week Technology Showcase, the Institute for e-Health Policy will again convene, on October 5, a panel of experts to discuss - “Unlocking the Value of Health Data.”
The recent FCC Broadband plan concluded that: “Data is becoming the world’s most valuable commodity. In multiple sectors—including finance, retail and advertising—free-flowing and interoperable data have increased competition, improved customer understanding, driven innovation and improved decision-making.” Innovative uses of advanced health data could lead to better treatment evaluation, personalized medicine, enhanced public health, empowered consumers, and improved policy decisions.
Join us for the next Capitol Hill Steering Committee on Telehealth and Healthcare Informatics health IT lunchtime briefing on Wednesday, October 5th, Noon-1:45 p.m. in the Senate Visitors Center, Room SVC 208-209, to discuss, “Unlocking the Value of Health Data: Transforming Care Using Information Securely to Improve Efficiency and Quality, Advance Biomedical and Health Systems Research, and Promote Population-health.”
Attendance is complimentary and open to the public, with lunch served. For more information, please visit www.e-healthpolicy.org or contact me at asimmons@himss.org.

- selling innovative solutions by shaping the market, and
- developing high value relationships with influencers and buyers within the federal government.
Both workshops are one-day events and cover the topics mentioned above and much more…Register today to secure your Early Bird price for either of the Federal Health IT Business Development Workshops.
