We’re giving Virtual Conference & Expo attendees through this Friday at 5 PM Central to submit to the HIMSS Virtual Video Contest! That’s right…the iPad 2 prize is still up for grabs.
Hesitant about what to say in your video? Just make it short and sweet. If I were going to enter (which I can’t as a HIMSS employee, darn) I would do something like:
“Hi this is Lauren Brown and I just attended the HIMSS Virtual Conference & Expo. I loved going into the lounge after the sessions and reconnecting with the speakers for more Q&A. It gave me a personal opportunity to learn even more about those topics of interest straight from an industry leader. I’ll be able to bring these ideas back to my staff and start implementing immediately. Thanks, HIMSS.”
What you enjoyed most about the show, why you think going to a virtual conference is beneficial, what takeaways you have from sessions, or why you will attend again… all these things are great things to put in your video.
1) So take a couple minutes to make your video. 2) Upload it onto YouTube. 3) Send out either a tweet with the hashtag #himsscontest and a link to your video OR post a link to your video and the phrase “HIMSS Contest” on the HIMSS Facebook wall. 4) Sit back, relax and wait to see if you’ve won the iPad 2!

I am Manish Kharche from HealthPOINT South Dakota,s REC and first time attendee of the Virtual Conference.
I have been to HIMSS annual conferences regularly for last two times and they were just great.
But the virtual conference is amazing with all the facilities provided, availability on demand and suitable to my own schedule is fantastic.
Another thing I would like to say, that Virtual conference had great speakers and presentations happening twice an year, compliment to the annual conference
