Meaningful Use Link Monday! Shameless Plug Edition

I only have one meaningful use link for today’s blog post.  Here it is:

http://www.himssvirtual.org

What does this link have to do with Meaningful Use education, you may ask?  Good question.

Well, I’ve got 11 answers for you.  There are 11 meaningful use-specific sessions now available on demand through Feb. 4 from the November 2010 HIMSS Virtual Conference.  Those sessions included perspectives from industry experts and keynote presenters Judith A. Murphy, RN, FACMI, FHIMSS, Vice President, Information Technology at Aurora Health Care, Inc. and John D. Halamka, MD, MS, Chief Information Officer at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Co-Chair of the Federal Government’s HIT Standards Committee.

Not interested in meaningful use?

Well, we’ve got another 7 sessions on HIE, a session on CPOE, one on ICD-10, one on security, and just for extra measure, one on social media in healthcare.

Still not enough for you?  (Wow, that’s really not enough?)

You can also find all the sessions from the June 2010 HIMSS Virtual Conference and HIMSS10 Annual Conference for purchase in the HIMSS eLearning Academy.  That should have you covered.

You can access the HIMSS eLearning Academy here:  http://www.himss.org/education

Don’t miss your opportunity to register for and view the November 2010 HIMSS Virtual Conference On Demand!

  1. I love how HIMSS has made all the virtual conference sessions available online. That’s a great move. I hope to see more of this in the future.
